I completed my 200 hour teacher training in 2014 with Karma Yoga and 80 hour training in Sports Yoga with Sarah Ramsden in 2016. I also qualified to teach "Moving Stretch" with Suzanne Wylde the creator of the concept in 2017. I continue to study extensively, through courses, workshops and research to widen my knowledge and be able to offer the very best that I can to my students and clients.
In addition to teaching on a freelance basis in various locations across Cumbria I have a small number of private clients who have health issues which would prevent them coming to a general yoga class. This is fantastically rewarding and has broadened my knowledge of what yoga can offer individuals with chronic health issues such as arthritis or have previously suffered a stroke.
I have created my own style of teaching based on my own experiences over the years. I particularly enjoy introducing sportspeople and beginners to the fantastic benefits of yoga in a relaxed and friendly environment.
