November Yoga Retreat - to give you a wonderful experience of health, energy and relaxation

We still have a few spaces available so come along and indulge yourself in a weekend of Yoga, Meditation, Relaxation, great food and company. The retreat is for students who have studied with me.

Gongs

I have planet gongs Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Moon, Earth and Saturn as well as a large and smaller symphonic and some lovely bowls and bells.

This retreat is

  • for students who have worked with me
  • residential with places limited to a maximum of 18-20 students

The aim of this retreat is

  • to give you a rejuvenating, restorative weekend with yoga, meditation, pranayama, sound therapy and various workshops to deepen your practice and understanding of your body
  • to encourage you to feel a sense of joy to be living in your body
  • to do this all with a sense of fun and ease
  • to send you home feeling well rested, relaxed and energised

              The facilities https://www.retreattogayles.co.uk/

Lovely rooms, excellent facilities even though they are dormitories

(don’t worry about snoring - they sell ear plugs at £1!).

There is a shower and a separate toilet per 5-6 people.

There is a fabulous swimming pool, though sadly it will not be open in November.

A few hammocks hang between the large trees.

We can have a bonfire after dinner one night, with a sing song if anyone wants to join in - or just chat.

Ample parking, though they request to limit the cars and share the journey.

Stunning location with quiet places to sit and contemplate or chat - there are chickens roaming around too!

We all need to dress our beds on arrival and strip them when we leave, leaving the rooms tidy; bedding is provided.

              Food and Drink

Vegetables are picked from the garden and cooked fresh. It is vegetarian though not all beans and lentils!

Apparently Derry's cooking is legendary and they sell his recipe books.

Each dormitory has a kettle for tea/coffee making facilities.

There is fruit and tea/coffee available throughout the day.

Three meals a day from Friday evening till Sunday lunch.

The dining area has a fireplace to toast your toes around.

We need to do the washing up after meals.

              Yoga and Social

There will be at least 2 yoga classes every day, including pranayama, meditation and workshops.

Exploring deeper information to help you improve your body awareness, yoga practice and health.

There will of course be an element of fun and enjoyment with it all.

As my yogis are lovely I am sure you will enjoy deepening friendships or making new ones

in class, at meals and in free time.

You can also enjoy simply having some quiet time to listen to your inner self.

              Sound Therapy Gongs Baths

I have expanded my 35 years of sound therapy experience with tuning forks by learning to play the gongs.

I look forward to sharing this with you and will be incorporating this into the classes and the retreat for added                            relaxation and cleansing.

              There will of course be

  • good food (vegetarian) - any special dietary requirements to be advised in advance please.
  • great company and surroundings
  • time for relaxation, walks in the country, on the beach, etc.

There will be self practice daily, as well as general classes - I will design the course structure nearer the time to suit the attendees so there is something to suit everyone.

If anyone has particular workshop topics or activities they would like covered, please let me know.
