My Yoga journey began in 2004 when I attended my first Ashtanga class.  Whilst I enjoyed it I was only casual in my approach.  A decade later, severe lower back pain led me to practice with more commitment and I cultivated a regular at-home practice with the help of the YouTube Channel "Yoga with Adriene".  As a result I experienced a remarkable transformation in health and I completely fell in love with Yoga and indeed life itself.  Observing the movements of my then 2 year old son was further evidence for me that Yoga was the way to go.  In the Summer of  2018 I completed my 200hr Teacher Training in "Progressive Vinyasa" at the Suryalia Retreat in Andalucia under the expert guidance of Carol Murphy (Green Lotus Yoga).  My own practice is a mix of Hatha & Vinyasa and I am all about integrating what I learn on the Yoga mat into everyday life.  My favourite place to practice is outside in the fresh air, where thanks to Yoga I have reconnected with Nature after too long in front of a computer screen!
