As a former dancer and performer, my interest in movement and breath practices for physical and mental health began after repetitive injuries.
In my two decades teaching, I have completed numerous training courses in Yoga, anatomy, massage, pilates and most recently Myofascial movement therapy.
I firmly believe a yoga teacher is a highly valuable service provider. One that supports health and wellbeing. I believe the ability to facilitate yoga (safely) in others is a specific skill set involving communication, observation, implimentation of specific learning aims.
I believe that a Yoga class is a dialogue between teacher and student. And not some kind of I show and you follow. Yoga is for every body.
I also believe that with the right guidance Yoga can be a career choice. People just need to know the paths to follow. We support all of our students post training to continue doing the thing they love.
