I am a very grounded and down to earth yoga teacher. I have been practicing yoga since I was 16, but then came to my teacher traning slightly later in life after having a family and realising how important yoga is to maintaining my sanity and equilibrium. I have also been an acupuncturist for 12 years and felt that the yoga teacher training would complement my knowledge of healing and the human body.
I have now been teaching since I qualified in 2017 and have not looked back. With every new student I meet I learn and develop my knowledge and teaching skills, and realise how yoga can be used in such diverse ways to bring a sense of serenity to us all, despite what is going on in the world around us.
Before the pandemic hit in 2020 I was working in a very diverse range of places, seeing people of all ages and abilities benefit from yoga. I have since moved onto zoom where I continue to provide a caring and safe environment as best I can via the screen. I offer group classes, and check in regularly in one to one sessions to ensure my student's practice is developing safely despite not always being able to see them.
Every class I give encorporates the benefits of breathing, stretching, strengthening, and checking in with ourselves to see how we really are in that moment.
