Overview

About Me: After six years in brand management looking after marketing, PR and events for drinks brands, I decided to set up my own healthy snack company, The Hangry Food Co. As much as I loved organizing a good party, I equally love my food and fitness.

Influenced by my travels, festivals, reading and many inspirational teachers over the years, I completed my yoga teacher training as a present to myself. As a gymnast and dancer in my teens, yoga is important to me as it keeps me flexible and strong, for better awareness and appreciation of my body, but equally brings calmness and escapism from the nonsense of every day life.

Training: 200 hour Teacher Training at The Power Yoga Company, 2016

Taught by Erin Pritchard, I learnt a set of all level routines in the power yoga style, covering asana, pranayama, bandhas, mudras and meditation, with key focus on anatomy and physiology. Rich in yogic history, tradition and philosophy, the course was all encompassing and a great grounding.

Teaching Style: I specialise in vinyasa yoga, teaching all level classes. I offer confident demonstrations, modifications and hands on assistance. I’m great at reading a room and adapting seamlessly. Music is really important to me in a class, not only to work with the flow, but for meditation and focus. I really enjoy creating new sequences and matching playlists to keep classes fresh. I believe in making classes fun, encouraging and appropriately challenging, with a good dollop of humour thrown in.
