Having spent nearly 40 years in a highly stressful career (dentistry), I have been acutely aware of managing stress and exercise has been a useful tool in this dealing with this. I have always been interested in optimal living - getting the most out of every day, both physically and mentally. As a consequence, I lived a high octane lifestyle. Aerobic exercise and long working days and partying hard too! 

                       

The arrival of the pandemic made me realise how happy and contented I could be without the high octane and how productive I could become in a calm, peaceful and happy way. All this I discovered because I made more time for yoga.
 I trained as a yoga teacher with Yoga Haven and have particularly enjoyed introducing people to the benefits of a regular yoga practice and growing with them through their new journeys.

        I have set up a place to offer short retreats to help people relax, restore and renew with yoga as the primary therapy but also offering sound bath and yoga nidra to help deepen the relaxation and renewal. These retreats are set in luxury and with nature all around.
