Overview

Things changed for me when I stepped into my first Yin class. That I was allowed to have an hour to restore was something which felt quite alien to start with. My weekly happy place was in a Yin class, blankets, stretching, exploring the edge and finding some quiet.

This year I wanted to find out more about Yoga, like many I had come to Vinyasa through the physical practice and often found it frustrating when my body wouldn't move in the way I wanted it to. What a relief to find out that the asana was only one of the 8 limbs and I wasn't doing yoga "wrong" and just moving was more than enough. 

I am so pleased I have the grounding in the 200 hour Vinyasa course to understand the history, philosophy and how it's helped me become so much calmer and open in my daily life.

I've recently completed a 50 hour Yin course and found it fascinating to discover the origins, benefits and more about Prana, Chi and the meridians. 

My style of teaching is supportive, calming, restorative and informative. Helping those with busy lives and too many thoughts to find some stillness, time for themselves is really important to me.
