Chris first discovered yoga whilst searching for relief from neck and shoulder pain from years of office work. He practiced a number of styles but eventually found a home in Jivamukti which lead him to Sangyé Yoga School in Kensal Rise. Chris studied studied under Cat Alip-Douglas completing a 200hr teacher training in 2016.
Classes are taught with an emphasis on linking movement and breath into a dynamic yet restorative practice designed to leave students feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Core sequences are built using the Ashtanga and Jivamukti style flows as a framework adapted to Chris' own style and the levels of the students in the session. He uses physical assists along with verbal cues throughout the session to encourage healthy alignment and deepen the practice.
In addition to teaching, Chris founded a business that facilitates new teachers making a start in the yoga world in London, Crisp Yoga.
