I started practicing yoga in 1995. I came to yoga to heal a bad back and sore knees due to much high impact exercise.
for a few years I enjoyed the physical benefits of yoga but then one day I started to notice that my yoga practice also helped me on a mental and emotional level. I felt calmer, more patient and became more organised. I started to feel a strong sense of being strong and happy with myself. this got me really interested in yoga.
I started to study with Jenny Beeken and the Inner Yoga Trust in 2005 . the very thorough teacher training programme was tough and self reflective. I can honestly say it changed my life.
My teaching style is honest and open. I teach yoga without judging and believe that everybody can practice yoga . The Inner Yoga London teacher training programme that we offer is a personal, healing journey . I am proud to have such depth of training from my teacher Jenny who will always be my guide and light.
Our courses are suitable for students who is genuinely interested in " digging a bit deeper" , students who already have a practise, and someone who wants a profound knowledge of yoga on a physical level but also on a personal level , we teach these courses to enable our students to make the best choices for themselves and to enhance their lives in any way they can. to be able to understand how we can use yoga in our everyday life. and pass this on to others.
I guess you could say that my teaching will connect you more to yourself and your Inner world. learning to be kind and respectful towards yourself , understand what you need, and to enable healing which we all need.
