I qualified as a Yoga Teacher with Yoga Professionals London in 2011.  I had practised Yoga and all it encompasses for many years before I qualified as a teacher, I was inspired by my mentors to take my personal practise of Yoga further and qualify as a Yoga Teacher. I have experienced and continue to experience the power of yoga as a tool for health, healing and complete well being.   

I teach from a Hatha Yoga background, I listen to and practise with my students making each class a unique and individual experience. I teach all ages and abilities both individual one to one sessions, small groups and class based. I teach from my heart with an in depth knowledge of the anatomy and work with awareness of Prana (the breath) our life giving energy and strength.  I include meditation in my classes, my students determine the level we practise.

Since qualifying as a Yoga teacher I maintain my continued professional development and study many subjects within Yoga to further my knowledge and awareness. 

I have further qualified to work with those effected by chronic fatigue. There are also many medical conditions which can cause chronic fatigue some examples are Cancer and the treatment of,  heart or lung conditions, long Covid. My students who suffer from chronic fatigue for differing reasons find their practise of yoga helps them to manage their physical and mental well being.  

Living a balanced lifestyle for all of us in todays modern world requires strength to manage stress & anxiety, I work closely with all my students to find their own individual strength in mind, body and spirit through their yoga practise.

The practise of Yoga has the power to withdraw us from the demands of everyday life on all levels. I believe Yoga can be used as a tool to regain the control in our lives, to keep us grounded and to energise us to achieve the complete wellbeing of our own personal and unique mind, body and spirit.
