Hello, my name is Shelly and I teach yoga around Surrey and East Sussex. 

My personal journey with Yoga started in 1999, whilst on a silent Vipasana meditation retreat in Thailand. Over the years my practice grew, and I aspired to train in India. It was there I undertook my Teacher Training with the Ananda Vedanta Ashram, and I hold a RYT200 hour certificate.  I regularly attend workshops  for Continuing Professional Development. I undertook my Pregnancy Teacher Training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, one of the leading experts in the field. The training is run through YogaCampus/Sitaram partnership.I have trained with Rainbow Kids Yoga in Yoga for Kids & Families. I have also trained in Yin Yoga under Norman Blair through Yoga Campus and have studies Anatomy & Physiology with Judith Lasatar.

I practice Yoga because it is a constantly changing journey which makes me feel alive, and hopefully a better person! And I teach because it is a pleasure and an honour to share and grow with this wonderful knowledge that we are blessed to have had passed down to us, and shared through so many teachings and studies.
