Overview
Yoga has been a constant in my life for 18 years. In this time I have practiced regularly, attended classes and enjoyed retreats.
I am a trained art teacher and currently work in an art gallery learning team. This is a people-centred profession and the privilege of sharing art with people and the exchange of inspiration and empowerment is a wonderful thing. This pathway led me to think about sharing my yoga in the same way so in 2016 I took the next step on my journey and decided to train to teach.
I trained on Hatha Yoga at Sandstone Yoga, Aldridge with the wonderful SYT Michelle Nicklin and completed the 200hour Yoga Alliance certificate in July 2017.
I teach accessible adult classes, and I am particularly passionate about sharing yoga with beginners and those who may think yoga just isn't their cup of tea... but are perhaps willing to give it a go. Pranayama practice, mediation and relaxation are all core elements of my classes with the aim of sharing that yoga magic to encourage a sense of wellbeing and peace.
