Overview

My online courses and trainings provide a platform to explore creative movement ideas. They encourage you to make decisions based on how things feel in your body, rather than how they look. I deliver inspiration for pioneering yoga teachers and embodied inquiry for all movers and changers, exploring multiple styles and traditions of yoga, movement and spirituality. I believe that fluidity, variation and choice provide you with the freedom to initiate positive changes for yourself, your life and the world you co-create.

I dedicate my work to education, offering support, sharing knowledge, guidance, listening and I commit to bring out the best in people, allowing them to shine.  I value variety, quirkiness, humour and welcome you as you are. We all need help realising that there’s nothing to fix, only to inquire and embrace, accessing our inner wisdom, growth and contentment

I have spent the last two decades exploring countless yoga styles, movement practices and meditation techniques. I’ve attended multiple anatomy courses, yoga teaching intensives, and completed numerous qualified courses including; yoga therapy, permaculture, shamanism, and massage - I got lost in the mindset that if I keep doing more and more then, my life will one day get better. Although it’s provided me with a wealth of knowledge and heaps of experience, it has also been very confusing at times. I often joke about how much money I have spent on courses to realise that no one really ‘knows’ - but instead wisdom allows us to land more comfortably in the ‘not knowing’ – and there’s so much fun and laughter to be shared along the way!

Richard teaches a 250 hour Yoga Teacher Training course through  CONTEMPORARY SCHOOL OF YOGA

Earth is the classroom. Life provides the lessons and with it, ongoing stresses and challenges. It is increasingly more important that we deepen our connection with nature, our nature, our relation to gravity, our ability to listen, observe and rest when needed. Nature shows us abundance when we work in harmony with life around us. Yoga has taught me this.

    250-hour teacher training

Richard has this power to make people feel the space around them and fill that space with their personality. He has an ability to make people rise and shine. He transfers his knowledge without restraining himself, it flows like a beautiful river. It feels like being under a beautiful cascade in nature. Bathing in the sun of generosity, authenticity, respect. He does not impose his views ever but create a safe space to share, learn from each other, grow from each other, and learn self-compassion and compassion for others. I would recommend this training to anyone who is passionate about yoga, its philosophy and the power of its impact on people’s life, behavior, mindset. Richard brings Union.

  3. Yoga Teacher Training

Richard is an amazing teacher trainer , down -to-earth, fun, caring , with great wisdom and experience in many styles of yoga . He has the unique ability to enable people to shine creating a safe, supportive and vibrant environment, a perfect cradle for creativity and self-expression. Richard's approach to yoga is fresh, non-dogmatic and inclusive, his vast knowledge, combined with his unique sensitivity and experience, enables him to combine the best between ancient wisdom and new scientific approach in anatomy and movement. His shamanic background also adds further depth to the yoga practise. Contemporary, experiential, somatic, whole, modern... No label can really pin down what Richard transmit. To me it is the essence of yoga, the discovery of the whole and the union with your true self, whoever you are.
