Overview

I have been practising Yoga for 17 years.

My first 200 hour yoga teacher training was with The Power Yoga Company under the direction of Erin Prichard. I have since trained with Claire Este MacDonald of Divine Play Yoga (Boston), with a focus on anatomy and physiology. I am currently on a 500 hour teacher training programme with Tiffany Cruickshank of Yoga Medicine and have completed the Spine Immersion and the Myofascial Release Immersion. I am a registered Yoga Medicine teacher.
I originally trained in ballet and contemporary dance before moving into acting. Through acting I became fascinated with the voice and went on to train as a Voice Coach at Central School of Speech and Drama. I continue to work in areas of business and performance enabling people to find their voice and use it effectively and naturally.

I am married and a mother of three kids aged 17,14 and 11.

My Vinyasa Yoga classes combine creative, dynamic sequencing with a focus on weaving yogic philosophy into our everyday lives. It's about staying in the moment and finding peace and freedom within by letting go of everything that doesn't serve us.  Attention to breath, alignment and safe technique is key but so also is the opportunity to play and experiment.
Yoga is an effective tool for healing the body when taught with care, and a powerful means by which to heal and integrate mind, body and spirit. One can leave the mat calmer, balanced, knowing oneself more deeply, and accepting oneself.
I hope to challenge and ground my students, to offer the tools with which they may free themselves to be present - which is liberating and essential to our overall wellbeing.

I teach individual and small group classes at my studio in Wimbledon. Home visits are by special arrangement.

I also teach at Lululemon and Yotopia in Covent Garden.
