I started practicing yoga in 2006 whilst living in Guatemala. On returning to Brighton I discovered Vajrasati Yoga and fell in love with the playfulness and self exploration encouraged in the practice and decided to embark the two year teacher training prgramme completing my 500+ hour qualification in 2015. After completing my course i took a leap and left my job as a support worker and started teaching yoga full time.I have been a mentor in the school since graduation and in 2020 I became a Senior teacher in the Vajrasati school and now assist on the Teacher training programme.
My classes encourage pratitioners to explore their edges in a supported and friendly enviromnent, bringing attention to subtle details, and inspiring them to delve deeper into yoga by bringing in meditation, pranayama and mantra practice into my classes as well as teaching postural yoga. I am passionate about making yoga more inclusive and accessible, reaching out to different parts of the community and have taught a variey of people from all different backgounds and abilites. I continue to learn every time i step on the mat and am inspired by all the different people i have been privileged to meet since starting on this journey.
