The Panacea Project® practitioners course will be a 7 week program (you may finish sooner, 7 weeks is based on 2-4 hours study time each week) with a minimum 10 hour in-person training day, aimed at current yoga teachers and healers, equipping you with all the skills and education necessary to teach the Panacea Project. Once you have fulfilled the prerequisites on the Curriculum (see below) you will be invited to join our specialist training day covering the following subjects:-

  • Panacea Project® philosophy & code of ethics
  • Anatomy & kinesiology
  • Alignment principles
  • Pranayama / breath work
  • Meditation & sound current
  • The basic core 8 week program to include yoga asana, kriya, meditation, mudra, & acupressure techniques 
  • Relaxation techniques using yoga nidre and the hypnotic power of NLP 
  • Teaching points and language using NLP
  • Teaching populations with trauma, PTS, self-harm and addictions
  • Teaching within institutions with a different set of guidelines than any studio teaching requires special training. You will be equipped with safety guidelines to ensure that the Panacea Project will remain sustainable, safe and effective.

Basic Core Course includes:-

  • Certification (that’s quickly becoming synonymous with healing and recovery)
  • Training Manual and in-person full day training
  • First year membership with Panacea Project® FREE (includes profile on our website, marketing material, business coaching, teaching points, playlists, mentoring, referral work subject to area and availability).
  • DBS / security checks /personal protection courses where necessary
  • Access to our private FB group for practitioners’ continuing support and back up.
  • Permission to use Panacea Project® Prac. as a registered trademark with your membership
  • Referral work subject to availability

Fee

  • £397 one off fee and can re sit for free as often as you require
  • £158.80 (60% subsidised if you have been head hunted by True You to assist within HMPS)

Panacea Project® Certification Curriculum & Reading List

The Panacea Project® practitioner certification curriculum is under license from TY Guru Limited and requirements are as follows:-

Prerequisites for applying for certification: (Once you have fulfilled all the prerequisites, you may then submit your completed application with written paper to kellyb@trueyou.guru)

  • Minimum of 1 years practicing and studying yoga, which includes:
  • A minimum of 1 public class per week for 40 weeks per year = total of 40 classroom hours; plus regular home practice minimum of 3 hours per week for 40 = total of 160 hours of self-practice over the year
  • Minimum of 1 year practicing meditation.
  • Minimum 1 years of teaching yoga, personal training, Pilates, or another fitness program:
  • Minimum of 200 RYT accredited by the Yoga Alliance OR minimum Fitness Instructor Level 2 OR a similar teacher/instructor qualification to inform us of; of which we may (subject to it fulfilling our requirements) may also accept.
  • Consideration will be given to those without the above but do have extensive experience in yoga or similar fitness, mindful practices. In this case, you should tell us the extent of your experience and list any programs, lectures and workshops you have attended complete with the name of who delivered it. We reserve the right to accept or deny this experience as a prerequisite to the course.
  • Partake in and pass the Panacea Project® practitioner training course delivered by one of our project experts.

  • Anatomy of Movement By Blandine Calais-Germain
  • Light on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali bu BKS Iyengar
  • Shiva Sutras - Supreme Awakening Swami Lakshmanjoo (attached)
  • Physical Wisdom by Yogi Bhajan (from £7 on Kindle)
  • In the Realm of the Hungry Ghosts by Gabor Mate (available in audio too)
  • Other recommendations but not necessary:
  • Praana Praanee Praanayam by Yogi Bhajan
  • Reaching Me in Me by Yogi Bhajan 

Assessment

If the above requirements are met and the application for certification is accepted, then the applicant must pass an evaluation of the following three areas. Detailed information regarding the written assessment and video sections will be sent to the candidate upon acceptance of the certification application.

  1. Physical performance : The ability to perform and deliver the Panacea Project® Core Syllabus of routines with the correct Panacea Project® ethos. Physical performance of teaching the routines will be observed and evaluated during classes and workshops by a certified Panacea Project® practitioner.
  2. Knowledge (by way of a written paper): The written assessment will be an open book paper. After your practical training you will have 10 days upon receipt to complete it and return it. Subjects include but are not limited to the following:

Panacea Project® philosophy

Anatomy/kinesiology

Alignment principles

Pranayama/meditation

Teaching a population with trauma

      3.  Teaching skills : These will be observed through the applicant’s classes via video and in person. The video must capture an entire class from beginning to end, as well as capture good audio and clear visual. The video should also depict a well-rounded class that shows the applicant’s skill and knowledge of teaching the Panacea Project®
