Irana Ji An Fourouli -Yog’ratna –  Senior Yoga Teacher Trainer,  founder of Anapnoe Yoga®Awareness through the body and Yoga Shala Paros School of Yoga.  Her experiential approach and unique style integrate breath, alignment and anatomical awareness to draw the student into their inner experience of each posture and into centering, strengthening integrally and flowing through the breath.

Irana has been teaching since the year 2001 and living and practicing Yoga for more than 27 years. She has dwelt in different lineages of yoga- Sivananda, Ashtanga, Traditional  Hatha Yoga, Iyengar, Anusara, Jivamukti, Bhakti Flow, Prana Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin yoga, Scaravelli, Tantra & Kundalini Yoga. Her background as Dancer since the age of 5, Artist & Designer, her Zen Buddhist practice and Therapeutic experience infuse her lifestyle and teaching.

She has a Therapeutic approach towards the physical and emotional well being. Her knowledge of yoga, body, and mind inspire a transformational approach to yoga practice. Her experience as a Vinyasa Yoga practitioner and her background can be clearly felt in her precision, awareness of bioenergetic alignment and fluidity of movement in practice.

Irana teaches with skill and confidence. Her instruction is clear and concise. Her calm, generous and analytical teaching is loved by all, whatever their yoga experience. Exploring both traditional form and more deconstructed, natural breath inspired movement, her yoga practice is creative, grounding, powerful, compassionate and vital in healing the body-mind and the psyche. In her teaching, she accentuates the importance of discipline, patience, and endurance on the path of conscious evolution.

Senior yoga teacher and women’s wellness specialist, Irana Ji An is a Transformational Yoga instructor specialized in Transformational Yoga Therapy, Purification and Trauma and known for her ability to simplify the complex concepts of Yoga & Ayurveda in a way that makes these ancient practices available and applicable to modern-day living.

Yoga Shala Paros, her wellness coaching business,  aims to inspire and educate people to transform their health through the core teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda. Irana now trains professionals all over the world with her method of health coaching, Anapnoe Yoga® Awareness Through the Body, which aims to empower people with organic, authentic behavior change. With a20 year certified experience in  Personal Training, Nutrition and Yoga, Irana continues to encourage her clients to live well, be present and access the energy they have to live a healthy, productive life.

Acknowledged for her ability to blend the realms of eastern & western health in a way that makes holistic healing accessible and relevant to everyday life, Irana  incorporates pranayama, mudra & mantra & meditation in all her yoga classes and workshops, as she experientially believes in the power of personal growth  and transformation by experiencing the spiritual potency of these practices as conscious evolution.
