In light of the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, many yoga teachers have had to adjust or amend how they offer their classes. In this unsettling climate, Yoga Alliance Professionals is, more than ever, here to provide guidance, protect our community and support members in their yoga teaching.
While we do not typically advocate online classes, given the current climate, this appears to be the most appropriate measure for members to continue to operate their business and serve the students most in need of yoga.
There are a variety of ways to teach online, some of which are more complex than others. To provide you with as much information as possible, we have put together a guide to online classes. View our Guide to Teaching Yoga Online Here. We also have put together an online video course that will help you move your teaching online, find it here!
It is important to keep your yoga insurance in place if you plan to teach online. Yoga Alliance Professionals can cover you to teach online. If you already have our teacher insurance in place, you are covered provided you follow the guidance in the Guide. If you have not got insurance with your Yoga Alliance Professionals membership, then you can upgrade to include this by getting in touch here.
We also sent our an email with a message from our founders. If you have not seen this, you can view the message here.
