Yoga has been an important companion and support to me through a busy career and motherhood. I came to teacher training relatively late, taking an excellent and comprehensive ashtanga based teacher training at Meadowlark in Edinburgh. But I knew that I wanted to specialise in more therapeutic yoga and yoga for women at key times in their life, sharing with others the wonderful support that yoga has brought to me. A number of trainings have followed, most significantly with Uma Dinsmore Tuli in womb yoga and yoga nidra, with Yoga Mama in perinatal yoga and Shaura Hall in yoga for addiction recovery. I now teach a mix of group sessions and 1 to 1s in Edinburgh and Kilchoan on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. I observe, and am inspired by, the nourishment that yoga brings to all minds and bodies. I personally thrive on my daily ashtanga practice in morning Mysore at Meadowlark and wherever I find myself.
