Overview

My entire path of learning yoga has lead me to my Teacher with a capital T, Acharya Sri Swami Ashotosh Muni. With his love a guidance he has taken me deep into the yogic path, opening up the deep meaning of the scriptures. Thus bringing together all my previously acquired knowledge on yoga and turing it to wisdom.

Being a yoga teacher has been a great blessing in my life. For the past 30 years as I have taught yoga in various forms, I have learned more and more how little I really do know, and how much more there is to learn. But it cannot be learned all at once. Life has to be part of the learning process, what yoga teaches me I have to put into practice in my own life.

Yoga means to unite with my core being, my soul or the source that lies within. This union will only happen through practicing on the mat as well as off the mat. Our lives are the means to put into practice all the blessings that the yoga will offer us. By starting on the first step of the 8 limbs of Asthanga yoga, on the yamas, we have the best tools ever to trance-form our daily lives and find peace and happiness in any situation that occurs, no matter how dim it might seem.

All the training that I have had through my life as a yoga lover I have become more humble, more grateful, happier and at peace. I give thanks for the many blessings that yoga has offered to me and my family.

Jai Bhagwan
