Arrive in sunny Almeria to a retreat centre on the edge of one of Europe's most remote and beautiful natural parks, the Cabo de Gata, an unspoiled part of Spanish coastline. It’s an amazing landscape of perfect half-moon bays, hidden coves, striking volcanic rock formations, and spectacular flora and fauna - a wonderful wild coastline.
The venue is in a peaceful, isolated location, but within walking distance of the lovely, traditional local village of Nijar, which can be seen across the valley at the foot of the spectacular mountain backdrop.
Finlay will be leading two Forrest Yoga sessions each day and Yoga Nidra meditations with the aim of rejuvenating you, connecting you to your breath and nature.
Accommodation
The main house has two double en-suites, three twin en-suites and one twin with bathroom. nearby. The outlying farmstead has been converted in the original local style into charming accommodation, located near the main house with its own swimming pool and Yoga area. The Farmstead apartments have their own sitting room/kitchens with 5 twin en-suite bedrooms, one double en-suite and one single en-suite.
Yoga
The retreat includes 6 x 90 minute morning sessions and 4 x 90 minute afternoon Yoga/Meditation classes with two afternoons free to explore the beaches, spa, old town of Nijar or even to the Alhambra Palace.
