Overview

My classes are gentle but build up strength and flexibility. The lessons are dynamically adapted to suit the strengths and weaknesses of those attending. Choices are given with gradually increasing levels of demand within some postures. Particular attention is paid to being very safe entering and leaving postures. This makes it especially accessible to older students and those with a particular need; but younger people will also be challenged.  Recent sessions have included emphasis on the movement and concentration of prana. the koshas and the integration of all eight limbs of yoga.

I have a particular interest in reconciling modern scientific models of reality with the experience of practices described in terms of eastern traditions, such as chackras, prana, kundalini, koshas, kriya etc.
