I regularly travel to attend classes and workshops with Senior Iyengar teachers to deepen my knowledge, practice and my teaching skills.
I have taken a Restorative Yoga course with Roger Cole (Senior Iyengar Teacher). I also completed Mindfulness and Mindfulness Meditation Training with Dr Hagen Rampes (Mindfulness Healing)
I employ a Mindful approach to my yoga teaching. I encourage my students to bring full awareness to the breath and their physical, and emotional sensations as they move through asanas.
I also put emphasis on alignment, precision and selective relaxation in the postures.
Whilst my morning classes are energizing and dynamic, my Restorative evening classes ( which include Mindfulness Meditation) are geared towards rest and recovery. I passionately believe that yoga and meditation bring more clarity, balance and compassion to our lives allowing us to live and enjoy our lives to its full potential.
