This course was designed by Sue Hayles and Liz Parker to equip you to be a safe, confident and excellent Yoga Teacher of adult, mixed ability groups. It is based on their philosophy and belief that fine yoga teaching stems from an ability to embrace all traditions and practices whilst knowing, understanding and consistently applying fundamental principles of teaching and practice in an integrated and holistic way. This 200 hour course offers tutor and student a natural way forward.

Sue and Liz designed the course based on their own extensive experience as yoga practitioners, teachers and teacher trainers and brought a strong background in education and formulation of best yoga practice and policy at national level. Three Counties Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS 200), validated by Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Sadly, Liz Parker died in 2015. Sue continues to build upon the foundations which she and Liz laid together and is keen to stay true to the vision and excellence which Liz brought to their partnership.

At least 180 hours must be tutor contact hours. You will be expected to attend at least 80% of the course for certification to take

This is essentially a practical course, during which you will compile a portfolio of learning which will support you as a teacher of adult beginner and intermediate students.
