My yoga journey began during my teens, when at school we had the chance to attend a yoga class during lunchtimes. As a gymnast I was drawn to the physical aspects of yoga, but as I began to learn more about the philosophy of yoga and felt it resonate deeply with me, as well as feeling the physical, mental and emotional benefits, I soon realised that this was something I wanted to be a big part of my life and something I wanted to explore more deeply.
In the years that followed I attended classes and sought out new teachers wherever I went. Travel being another of my passions in life, I spent time in India, South Asia and South America, and found many yoga teachers along the way.
In 2012 I spent two months North India, where I completed my 200hour Yoga teacher training intensive.
It was life changing to say the least, and I learnt so much about myself, my health, the universe, and most importantly, that yoga is a lifelong subject of which there will always be more to learn.
I truly believe that yoga is a practice that can help, heal and enrich everyone's lives for the better.
I currently teach a regular weekly in person, as well private classes, and love to be able to bring yoga and it’s benefits to my local community.
