I offer classical Hatha instruction, having trained with the Sivananda Yoga tradition and also draw upon my training in Yoga for Over 50s and Accessible Yoga to make the practice more approachable for the variety of student needs.
I teach widely around the city for various Health and Fitness Clubs currently - here is an up to date weekly schedule for classes and locations with Glasgow Club :
Mondays at Maryhill 1100 - 1200 and Scotstoun 1330 - 1430
Tuesdays at North Woodside from 1030 - 1130 and Maryhill from 1745 - 1830
Wednesdays at Scotstoun from 1115 - 1215 and Maryhill from 1745 - 1830
Thursdays at Emirates from 1000 - 1100 and Milton at 1800 - 1845
Saturdays at Bellahouston from 1115 - 1200
I aim to incorporate as many aspects of yoga as I can into a session, to gear it to the student's needs but also to give them effective experience in the more subtle limbs of practice (Pranayama, Meditation etc)
I also co-facilitate sound journeys, retreats and workshops with another teacher in Scotland
In my spare time I enjoy creating music for yoga and relaxation and am developing my work with Yoga Nidra.
Having years of experience in the Lucid Dreaming methodologies and techniques I am also looking to host a monthly dream group for the city - so people are able to better connect with their dreams and the deepening of self reflection that Yoga can start to initiate for people getting into the rhythm with a regular practice.
