Curious about 'Yoga with Andrea'? I'm a fully certified and insured instructor recognised by Yoga Alliance, having delved into the teachings of various yoga mentors over the past two decades. My journey led me to earn my teaching credentials under the guidance of the esteemed Swami Atma Gyanam Saraswati at The Yoga Tree. Alongside, I've pursued studies in Anatomy, Physiology, and hold certifications in First Aid, Mental Health, Coaching and Fitness Instruction.
Continuously evolving in the realm of Yoga, I've explored Eastern philosophies and an array of styles including Kriya, Kundalini, Ashtanga, Bhakti, Anusara, Yin, Bhava, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Karma Yoga, among others. Moreover, I've immersed myself in Yoga Nidra (psychic sleep meditation) and diverse meditation practices, enriching the journey of my students.
Yoga, an ancient discipline with roots dating back over 5000 years in India, captivated me two decades ago as a means to harmonise mind, body, and spirit. I firmly believe it holds the transformative power I sought. Along this path, one discovers that the ultimate guru resides within oneself, holding boundless wisdom. Through yoga, I've unearthed a path to a happier, healthier existence, and I'm eager to share this journey with you.
In my classes, I offer a diverse range of styles catering to all preferences and abilities. Some sessions challenge, while others provide serenity and introspection. Each style contributes to aligning the body, mind, and spirit, fostering balance in myriad ways. In 'Yoga with Andrea,' expect a fusion of Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa flow, Yin and Bhava-inspired practices, complemented by relaxation, Yoga Nidra, and meditation.
Attuned to the aspirations of my students, I guide you on your yoga voyage, facilitating your return to self through practice. I host weekly classes and provide personalised private and group sessions.
