Constitution: Pitta/Vata
Favourite Asana: Urdhva dhanurasana. The opening in the front side of the spine is energizing and helps me open up to life. I also like inversions because they reduce attachment by helping me see things from an additional perspective.
Based in: Cadiz, Spain & also in the UK
Intuitive, perceptive and courageous, master teacher and spiritual guide Victoria is a gifted healer and explorer of the infinite possibilities of being and becoming. Victoria embodies a community and creation. She lives with an open heart and gut intuition, and in alignment with to the principles that she teaches. Above all, Victoria values simplicity: the ease of the present moment where all things are possible.
Victoria loves that life is an ongoing process of creation and destruction, of being and of becoming. She sees that the possibilities of transformation are indeed infinite. Tracing the steps of Victoria’s life reveals the wonderful variety of experiences that are within reach when the calling of the heart is followed. Victoria is a born traveller, and lived in many different countries, is a trained Ayurvedic Practitioner, a Reiki Master, Cacao ceremony space holder, an alchemist and a yogini.
But her highest calling is her work as a healer and as a teacher.
Right from the age of 6 yoga influences and astrologers were around her, with one grandad teaching her meditation to help her sleep and the other a keen astrologer.
Inspired by the mental healing that yoga provided her after some personal strife’s in her own well-being, Victoria began to teach Yoga full-time in 2010. A good teacher never ceases to be a student, and Victoria continued to learn and expand with advanced practitioners like David Swenson; Ashtanga Yoga, Randall Simpson; Abode, Acharya Shunya; Roar like a Goddess, Rita Hariz; Shamanism, Jackie Pendergarst, Reiki.
Then the door to Ayurveda opened: Always keen to learn about anything originating from India, Sri Lanka Victoria finally was able to afford to take the Ayurvedic practitioner studies that she had been longing for, and the time presented itself as well. So began studying with the Ayurvedic Institute and Dr Deepaka in London.
In Ayurveda Victoria found a delightful simplicity: this elegant and ancient science asked her to look to the subtleties of nature to understand her own true nature. It put the responsibility for healing firmly into her own hands. She came to fully appreciate the complementary nature of Ayurveda and Yoga, sciences that are designed to work in tandem to heal the mind, body and spirit.
