Golden Mandala Yoga-Soma Institute (previously Golden Mandala Yoga School) was established in January 2020 in response to create more holistic yoga teacher trainings and advanced yoga teacher trainings to provide more inclusive and accessible yoga in our communities that are trauma-informed with focus on embodied resilience and somatics.
Institute's Founder Aneta Idczak is registered Senior Yoga Teacher, Trainer Pro and YogaCoach with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, with over 13 years of teaching experience of embodied yoga and mindfulness. She runs unique yoga teacher trainings and teacher mentoring, and is a founder of 80-hour accredited Trauma-informed Yoga and Embodied Resilience (Trauma Resilience Embodied Yoga - TREY) & Social Impact teacher training and mentoring programme.
Aneta brings together almost 30 years experience of practicing yoga as well as training in various modalities including Embodied yoga, Yin/Insight yoga, Mindfulness, psychology and Person-centred & Existentialist Counselling, Inner Relationship Focusing (Embodied Listening), Master NLP, Life and Wellness Coaching, Breathwork, Energy Healing and Reiki Master, Somatics, embodiment practices, bodywork, myofascial release and Thai Yoga Massage therapy.
Aneta’s Integrative approach is further informed by over 22 years of working with trauma and mental health, including 16 years front line work with bio-psycho-social approach in Social Care with trauma, crisis intervention, mental health, addiction, DV, and child protection issues in various settings in London and Kent, where she later trained and supervised workers to engage and support vulnerable individuals and families. As well as ongoing work with local charities Soroptimist International (Women's Rights), Porchlight, Kent Carers, etc.
