Laura initiated practicing Yoga Asana 5 years ago. From the first time she stepped on the mat she felt a desire to connect body and mind through the different postures. As a beginner she became familiar with the poses, her body and movement by practicing mainly Hatha Yoga which allows to focus on alignment and conscious balance between effort and ease. After a year of regular practice and with the quest to understand better the body movement and anatomy, Laura completed a 200-hr teaching training In July 2017. Since then she has been exploring and discovering Yoga in more depth.
Laura focuses on bringing breath and movement together. She considers awareness, alignment and breath to be the foundations of the practice. Laura recognises that sharing the yoga practice with others in a responsible way is fundamental, therefore she has continuing studying and learning to deliver a responsible teaching. Laura sees the yoga teaching as an opportunity to guide others to cultivate a physical and mental well-being.
On the other hand, she is a full time acoustic engineer working with in an environmental team for a large civil engineering firm.
