I've practiced yoga and other forms of movement for more than 30 years. I have a background in the visual, musical and physical arts. As a vocalist and performer I'm particularly interested in the state of conscious embodiment which arises through subtle yoga practices such as meditation and breathwork. My specialism is voice work - I teach classes, workshops and one:one for yoga (and other) teachers, performers, singers and speakers in all walks of life.

Training

Graduate of Michael Stone's Meditation Facilitation Mentorship Programme/The Life Centre.
500 hour Yoga teaching qualifiaction through THE LIFE CENTRE in London.
Ten years personal practice in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, including two trips to the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore.
Teacher training and intensive study with teachers including: Michael Stone, Christopher Gladwell, John Scott, Richard Freeman, Shiva Rea, Louisa Sear, Donna Farhi, Tias Little, Aadil Palkhivala and others.

Teaching
Caroline designs and teaches classes and courses in educational, corporate and community contexts. She teaches a hybrid style of yoga that is vinyasa-based, breath-focused and draws on a broad and eclectic knowledge-base to encourage integration and embodiment on all levels. Her teaching is constantly inspired by an awareness of the profound effects of yoga in her own life and in that of her students. Classes are designed to be safe, challenging, fun and inclusive to students from all backgrounds. 

Qualified in 2000 as a voice-movement therapist; Caroline also works in the field of vocal arts therapy and voice coaching - this work continually informed by the experiential mind/body practices of yoga.
