Overview

I am a Forrest Yoga teacher, who is caring, approachable, enthusiastic and passionate about showing people the wonderful benefits of Forrest Yoga, both on and off the mat.

I love working with students to develop their own strong yoga practice, helping them to build a deeper connection to their own physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. 

I have been practicing yoga for over 12 years and attended my first yoga class in London in my early 20s as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city and stressful job.  In these early years my focus was on building a strong practice and building physical strength was my main aim.  Fast forward 10 years, a move back to Scotland, a husband and 2 kids later and that is when I discovered and fell in love with Forrest Yoga and my whole yoga focus changed. I began to realise and appreciate the philosophical and spiritual aspects of a strong yoga practice. Forrest Yoga changed my whole life and taught me how to breath properly, how to feel in my own body, how to slow down and how to make space.

In 2017 I completed a 6 week Introduction to Forrest Yoga course, led by level 3 Forrest Yoga teacher Katie Boyle and in 2018 I spent 1 month in Santa Barbara completing my 200hr Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher training, under the guardianship of 2 of the most senior Forrest Yoga guardians, Heidi Sormaz and Cat Allen.

When I am not teaching yoga I love spending time with my husband, son and daughter and going on family adventures or cooking delicious healthy food.
