For more information about the current Covid-19 regulations in Wales, please visit the government website.  Please keep in mind that all rules are subject to the public health conditions continuing to remain favourable.

As always, please follow the government guidelines in your local area to ensure you are following lockdown legislation. If you are unsure of what the restrictions mean for your yoga classes, we recommend contacting your local council.

  • All those responsible for premises open to the public must carry out a Covid risk assessment and continue to take reasonable measures to minimise the risk of exposure to coronavirus. You can find our guidance here.
  • Businesses are required to carry out a number of measures to reduce the risk of transmission.  This includes one way systems and physical barriers.
  • Face masks are still legally required in indoor public settings (if aged 11 and over). Face masks should be worn when walking around a yoga venue or facility.
  • 2 metres social distancing should be maintained between students and teachers. We recommend the 2 metres is from the centre of each mat.
  • Up to 30 people can attend indoor classes.
  • Up to 500 people can attend outdoor events.

Future Guidance

  • From the 21st January, there will be no limits on the number of people able to attend outdoor events. However, a COVID pass is required from attendees.
  • From 28th January, COVID passes will be required for large indoor events.

More Information

  • Fully vaccinated adults, under 18s and vaccine trial participants will not need to self-isolate if they are a close contact with someone with coronavirus.
  • NHS Covid Passes are required to enter non-seated, indoor events of more than 500 people and non-seated, outdoor events of more than 4000 people.
  • Covid Passes are also required for the cinema, theatre and concert halls. At the time of writing, Covid Passes are NOT required for yoga classes.
  • People who have had a negative lateral flow test in the past 48 hours will also be able to enter these events/ venues.

** The above information was correct at the time of writing. We always recommend that you double-check any guidelines with your local authority/council for up to date information.
