These are some of the questions asked by teachers who would like to use adjusting but lack the confidence and experience. Effective adjusting requires a true understanding of the asana and the student’s place in that asana. The adjustment itself is the physical expression of that understanding.
This workshop explores when and when not to adjust, which type of adjustment is appropriate, and most importantly, how to adjust in a way which lets your students progress in their practice. We will look at some of the asanas of Primary and Second Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, as well as looking at some brought by you.
