Then join as a Trainee Teacher, and you can get insurance included in your membership (UK and Irish residents only)! Our policy will insure you while you adjust other students and cover classes during your time as a Trainee Yoga Teacher. The cost of trainee insurance is a one time payment of £25, covering you for a maximum of 18 months or until you graduate.
The trainee policy will cover you to teach yoga classes online. However, there are extra steps and requirements you should follow which you can find here. Please note if you are planning to teach online with the trainee policy, you can only do so if you are completing a Yoga Alliance Professionals accredited teacher training course OR if your course meets our requirments.
Per section any one claim, for an unlimited number of claims in the year, plus unlimited legal defence costs are covered in addition. There is no policy excess.
This cover includes Medical Malpractice, Professional, Public and Products Liability. Products Liability is provided for unlimited sales to clients and for up to £30,000 of retail sales (sales to non-clients).
Claims occurring basis with a difference! We automatically include Run-off cover for an unlimited period of time, meaning that if a claim was to be made years down the line after stopping your policy, you will always be covered for work you did within the insured period.
