Join myself and Jo Tocher for a morning of Yoga Flow, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing and a talk on essential oils. A morning of precious me-time.

Saturday 8th January 2022 9.30am-12.15pm, we invite you to take a ‘pause’ and spend a relaxing and energising morning that will leave you with a positive mindset and a boost to your physical and mental wellbeing.

Numbers limited to just 16 

  • 1 hour yoga, breathe, stretch, flow (this will be a ‘beginners’ level flow but equally suitable for those that practice regularly. It’s good sometimes to slow-down the flow; focus on your breath; and settle a little deeper into the poses)
  • Yoga Nidra, relaxing and meditational
  • A short talk on essential oils focussing on cooling and refreshing Roman Chamomile, Clary Safe and Ylang Ylang. Their benefits and how you can use them. *Special half-price offer on Essences of Jo, 'Relax' pulse oil
  • Finishing with a sound healing session – we are all energy and sometimes our energy becomes slow and stagnant and stuck. By shifting our energy state we can feel so much lighter within ourselves, more content and connected and optimistic by fully engaging all our senses.

Covid and the lockdowns has been an experience we won’t ever forget. We have got into our rhythm of it in our own way, and as we start a New year, we need to continue to provide ourselves with time to de-stress and relax. As we have spent less time moving and more time perhaps on the computer with virtual meetings - we find ourselves often taking short, shallow breaths and aren’t breathing properly to release our stress hormones.

By learning to breathe correctly we are bringing Oxygen into our body, and in turn boosting our cells, and blood flow. When we breathe out, we release the Carbon Dioxide, so this exchange boosts us and gives energy.

It’s all too easy to carry on as we have been doing without giving mindful attention to how we breathe and appreciate what is around us.
