Carmel attended her first yoga class in 2004 - initially for the physical benefits of increased flexibility, toning and strength. Over the years Carmel practiced Bikram hot yoga , vinyasa flow and Ashtanga yoga. Before long Carmel realised that there is a lot more to yoga than just a physical practice - yoga provides invaluable tools for dealing with whatever life throws both on and off the mat!!
Carmel completed her teacher training with Carol Murphy Green Lotus Yoga in 2016
Carmel believes that everyone can benefit from yoga regardless of age and/or ability, one is never too old to start. Carmel teaches a strong energetic Vinyasa ( movement with breath) flow class with modifications given to new students and those less fit, while Carmel believes that yoga is a personal practice she encourages her students to reach their own potential
Carmel is committed to lifelong learning and development and continues to attend classes and workshops, she is extremely grateful to all her teachers and loves to share what she has learned
