I have been practicing yoga for over twenty years. I came to it from having congenital scoliosis and my early teen years spent with orthopedic doctors. When I found Iyengar yoga I found the practice for me!
I am a qualified level 3 intermediate Iyengar teacher and I have been very lucky to of lived and trained with the Iyengar family in India and with my own teacher in Manchester.
I also have spent time with teachers of self enquiry and Advaita, during my time in India I spent many months with Advaita teacher Ramesh Balsekar.
The exploration of our humaness and our journey's is something I am immensely curious about.

I have been teaching in Ireland and the UK for the last fifteen years. Initially, I taught part time whilst also working as a new business developer for different brands such as Bewleys, Eircom, Skyinyourhome, 4gifts.ie, LED.
In 2010 I decided to take the leap into full time teaching and have been running weekly classes since then.

In September 2019 I got diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer and started a year long treatment program of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. During this time my constant companion was my yoga practice. To be able to go to my mat and find a way to help sooth my mind, body and spirit was something I am incredibly grateful for. I felt really lucky to be able to trust how to use my yoga practice to provide solace, which it had always done in my life but all of that seemed to of been building to this time.
Having completed all my treatment I am now bringing together a range of training courses. These include certified yoga teacher training;
"Moving Forward" a course which inc. yoga, nutrition and self compassion, for people after Cancer treatment.
A series of up-skilling courses for existing yoga teachers, inc chair yoga and kids yoga.
On-line classes either pre recorded or live streaming for companies to provide to staff.

I am so excited and happy to embark on this next stage, bringing together everything I have learnt and offering it in courses that I hope touch people in a way that they can bring forward and inspire into the world ❤️
