About me: written 2018 My name is Siobhán Woods and I am a lapsed yoga teacher. (I feel better already for admitting that, ha-ha!)  I completed 200 hrs Hatha yoga training at the Irish Health Cultural Association in 2002.  Then in 2003 I took a year out from my full-time PR & Communications position at Coca-Cola, for family reasons, and taught yoga at the Village Hotel.  I received lovely positive feedback then and many of my students still ask, when they meet me, if I am returning to teaching, as they enjoyed my classes. So, when my career at Coca-Cola abruptly ended due to redundancy (along with approx.50 others) in June 2017, I decided to take a year out and reassess my life.  I enjoyed many fun pursuits such as travel, tennis, healthy baking (yes there is such a thing) and more.  I started regularly practicing yoga again - up to 6 classes some weeks. I was hooked. My ultimate plan - to see if my dream of getting back to teaching yoga and opening my own studio could be realised. A health issue was also a key catalyst for making a lifestyle change - more about that later (there's only so much I can openly share now!). As my strength, energy and overall well-being greatly improved so too has my confidence in my ability to teach again. I feel better now than I have in years and 'I'm raring to go' as they say!

Well done if you spotted the play on my surname. While you'll experience the tranquillity and relaxing energy of yoga, don't worry there won't be any downward dogs among the damp leaves...well maybe someday!

Situated across from the Star of the Sea Church in Mornington, parking is plentiful and Yoga Woods is located en route for drop-offs to nearby national and secondary school.
