With over 35 years of yoga practice, half of it as a teacher, I am still a passionate yoga student. I am also a Teacher (EYT100), Trainer and Director of Aruna Yoga Studio and Academy. Having worked full-time in this area for the last 15 years, I now specialise in training and mentoring teachers, trainers and business owners.I am an anatomy nerd, I train teachers in Embodied Hatha Yoga (Foundation & Advanced TT), Restorative & Yoga Nadira. I also use my many years of business experience and training with the London School of Economics  to support teachers with the business and online marketing aspects of running a Yoga studio. The philosophy … that’s just for fun.My background and influences are pretty eclectic. Originally, I studied Maths and Econometrics. I also have a degree in Psychology, I am a qualified Advanced trainer in Embodied Somatic Yoga, and Yoga Therapy. I am also a qualified iRest Level 2 teacher, coach, and certified in adult education. I employ best practices from all these fields to ensure the training I offer is not only up to date, and well informed (from both a scientific and traditional perspective), but also effective.
