Am I insured if I don’t have a first aid certificate?
(If you have insurance with Balens, as part of membership) Yes! You are still insured as a first aid certificate is not a requirement of this insurance policy.
Why This Matters
Some insurance providers require you to have first aid for the insurance to be active. If you have insurance elsewhere, please reach out to them and get clarification on this.
What This Means For You
- Your membership will continue, with or without first aid training
- First aid training increases employability
- Students and venues may choose you over others when you have first aid training
What You Need To Do
- Research the various first aid training
- Book on to a first aid training
- Complete the training and receive your certificate
- Upload the certification on the compliance section of your Live CV
