Can I join Yoga Alliance Professionals?

To join Yoga Alliance Professionals as a yoga teacher, you must have completed a 200-hour training course with at least 180 contact hours. Contact hours can be in-person or live online sessions.

Please note that if your course is pre-recorded, it will not meet the membership requirements.

If you have been teaching since before 2001 and have more than 6,000 teaching hours, we can accept your application even if you do not have a 200-hour certificate.
