The hours from any event that you are running for yoga teachers can be recognised as CPD hours. They do not need to be registered with us in order for this to happen. What this means is that any member of YAP can accumulate all hours they do additional training in, after their 200-hour foundation training. This is irrespective of whether the course is registered with us or not. The member can then add these hours to their profile page, which helps them move along our Career Path quicker.
We can help our more experienced teachers get visibility (with workshops and further training courses) and official accreditation for any further training courses.
If a registered Experienced Yoga Teacher / Senior Yoga Teacher wants promote any of their events to say the hours would be recognised by Yoga Alliance Professionals as CPD hours, they can do (but cannot use any CPD logo to advertise this). They cannot say the event is recognised or accredited by YAP, unless they register it with us.
