How do I downgrade my membership?
The best time to downgrade your membership is at your annual renewal, as we cannot offer refunds if you choose to downgrade during your membership year. There are various ways to downgrade your membership:
- If you want to cancel insurance but maintain your membership, please complete the cancellation form and select option 3, "Cancel Insurance." Please submit the form at least 14 days before your renewal to allow us enough time to adjust your subscription and account before the renewal date.
- If you want to take a break from teaching, consider pausing your membership at renewal. We call this a career break. There's a one-time fee of £25 to pay. Once you join us as a full member again, we will deduct the £25 fee from the membership price. This process will also save you the hassle of going through the whole application process again in the future and paying the current membership fees. - Please complete this cancellation form to cancel a package (ADW/Mentor). This will remove it from your membership when it renews. Please note that this will not cancel your teacher membership. Please give us at least 14 days before your renewal date to action the request. Cancellation will remove your content from our website.
- Please complete this cancellation form if you wish to cancel and remove a Trainer Pro membership. Please allow 14 days for us to process the cancellation. Once you have received confirmation of the cancellation, we ask that you remove all references to Yoga Alliance Professionals, including the Trainer Pro logo, from your website, social media and course and marketing material within 14 days of your cancellation date.
- Please complete the cancellation form if your circumstances have changed and you wish to cancel your teacher membership. Please allow 14 days for us to process the cancellation. Once you have received confirmation of the cancellation, we ask that you remove all references to Yoga Alliance Professionals, including the Teacher logo, from your website, social media and marketing materials within 14 days of your cancellation date.
