Overview

I was first introduced to the Iyengar discipline of yoga alignment 15 years ago.  Since then I have explored various disciplines of Yoga particularly Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Hatha Yoga.  Ashtanga is a dynamic, challenging and cathartic sequenced practise that changed my body, mind and life and Hatha brought me back into the present, to rebalance and focus on what is important.  


Since completing my 200hr teacher training, at the Whitespace Studio, my particular passion is Anatomy and integration in Yoga. I have also trained as a Gravity Yoga teacher.  This targeted flexibility practise supports a whole cross section of sports, particularly runners and cyclists, which combined with my Ashtanga and Hatha disciplines, I can offer clients a bespoke practice suited to their individual needs.





which I completely fell in love. Yet, as it inevitably does, life took over; my marriage broke up, four young children to care for, a career to build and yoga consequently fell into the background.


Since then, I rediscovered and reawakened my love of yoga through Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in 2016 at Akarmalife, and have not since looked back!, to become one.

I have come to understand that the benefits of doing a regular practice reached far beyond the mat; not only was I becoming stronger and more flexible, (and happily changing shape!), I noticed a new sense of calm, and equanimity and balance - a new confidence.


It became my life source and to deepen this love, I embarked on a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Course and am now ready to share my love and knowledge. 


Yoga is powerful and I want to inspire as many people as I can as to its’ benefits, I am passionate about spreading yoga’s message and the blessings of its practise.
