I first discovered yoga in 2017. I was travelling at the time and originally started as a way to stay in shape while “on the road” and to help with my anxiety. I immediately felt connected to this age-old spiritual discipline and was fascinated by the influence it had on me from the very beginning. Because I was travelling, I only ever did yoga online and never went to an actual class until I returned to the UK at the end of 2018, which only deepened my love for yoga. From then on I went to classes almost every day and no matter my mood, I would always feel so much better afterwards. So much more connected to myself and the world around me. So much more at peace. For me, nothing else has this power and the ability to share this with other people is what I love most about teaching yoga.
It was during the summer of 2019 where I really started playing with the idea of becoming a yoga teacher. Once that idea had manifested it did not take long before I decided on a course, booked it and began. I started my 250-hour Abode yoga teacher training in January 2020 and finished in June 2020. I began teaching while I was still in training and have been ever since.
I absolutely love what I do and I am fascinated by all the things I get to learn every day by working with different people.
