Staying in a stunningly renovated former monastery in a hill village above the Spa town of Bagni di Lucca just north of the medieval walled city of Lucca in Northern Tuscany. All rooms are Double ensuite (some with extra beds that can sleep 4) The Villa has a dedicated yoga studio plus a grand salon and quieter reading lounge. The villa has a plunge pool and olive groves as well as the pretty walled garden and Loggia, so plenty of space inside and out to explore.
Clare and Debbie will offer a week long yoga programme of Yoga Asana, Pranayama (breath work), Meditation, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, Chanting and so much more. We will work with the Summer Solstice energy in ritual and reflection whilst offering you a truly authentic retreat experience.
Our schedule will allow for an optional one day out to experience the magnificent medieval walled City of Lucca. Transportation to and from the villa will be pre-arranged and bookable and paid for in advance (please note this is not included in the price). You may prefer to use this day to take the waters at the local spa in Bagni di Lucca, again pre-bookable and payable locally. You may indeed prefer to stay at the villa and continue to deepen you yoga journey.
Everything on offer is optional – we both simply wish for this to be the very best retreat experience …
The price includes half board meals every day (continental breakfast and evening meal with house wine). You have the option to take lunch in 2 village restaurants, cater for yourself or indeed order a packed lunch so you can walk in the hills or have the in house chef prepare you something (payable locally and please allow 24 hours notice). The first evening we will be greeted with a welcome feast including prosecco and on our final evening we will dine at a fabulous village restaurant famed for is home made pasta and local delights (this is included in the price).
