The mission of Pure Yoga with Purekinderyoga is by integrating a basic Hatha Yoga Teacher Training to contribute improving the quality of Children's YogaTeachers. During the training Purekinderyoga the teacher-to-be learns to inspire participating children in the age from 2 to 12 and let them discover their inner strength and express themselves through Children's Yoga. And they also learn which yoga practices are not applicable by children in certain ages. The course is about skills and knowledge with which graduates are able to develop and teach Children's Yoga classes from the Hatha Yoga tradition.

Children's Yoga is fun, informative and motivating as support for the development and growth of the child, both physically and mentally. But, by participating in the TTC, also fun and stimulating for the participants' own development. Purekinderyoga provides the first steps of a basic Hatha Yoga training, through in-depth study of Yoga, Yoga Philosophy (eightfold path of Patañjali), (child-friendly) pranayama, chakra philosophy, holistic anatomy (of the child) and meditation. Amongst other things.

Thematically, the program is built around the seven Chakras-system. The first seven classes treat one of the seven chakras thematically. Chakra theory is an important part of the training. Asanas, mantras, pranayama and other forms of (yoga) practice do have an impact on the Chakra that is also central theme of the class.

Throughout the TTC the perspective of the child is central to practicing the Children's Yoga exercises, which are based on Hatha Yoga Asanas. Exercises are adapted to meet the specific stage of development of the group of children for whom the particular Children's Yoga class is provided. A theoretical as well as a practical basis is being taught from the perspective of Hatha Yoga1.

The care of children brings great responsibilities, because the child is growing, molding his behavior and is learning to discover his talents. The child is vulnerable, both physically and mentally. The combination of development of body and mind of the child is making yoga well suited to use in education and training of children.

During the class participants will learn the skills and techniques to assist and guide children in a Yoga Class in a responsible and safe way. Development of the child is central. Participants learn to instruct yoga from the perspective of the child. Participants are provided with a theoretical and practical basis yoga (asana), yoga philosophy, anatomy and didactics. Together with different types of game-elements, such as coloring, dancing, singing and visualizations, participants learn to turn a children's yoga class to an adventurous yoga feast.
