Becoming a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher

This 80hr Online Accredited Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training is for those who might feel drawn to bringing the power of mindfulness and compassion practices to others, or simply wanting to deepen their practice to shore-up the foundations of their own inner refuge.

Students often share how profoundly mindfulness and self-compassion are transforming their lives and then they ask: What is the pathway to becoming a teacher myself? I love this path I want to share it.

In this livestream training Deborah Berryman shares the qualities, personal experiences and attitudes that are important in those drawn to teaching meditation, as well as the challenges and pitfalls that may arise.

Course Overview:

In this course, we’ll explore the major considerations when approaching the role of teaching.

  • different motivations that draw people to mindfulness meditation,

  • personal qualities that contribute to being a good teacher,

  • deepening your own practice of mindfulness and self-compassion,

  • ways to prepare for being a teacher,

  • challenges of teaching,

  • what mindfulness and compassion teachers actually teach,

  • ways to address the deep sufferings our students bring to us,

  • elements that make up a good class,

  • ever-increasing opportunities for teaching in a world that so needs mindfulness and compassion everywhere.

Deborah will draw from over a decade of experience in training others to teach. You’ll hear inspiring stories, examples and reflections that allow you to use this learning as a way to grow for both you and your students.
